The US70TY does it with a centre up-firing speaker, the US90TY with three of them. The subwoofer is in the box Neither of these is a bar on its own. A wireless subwoofer is included with both, and it only needs a mains socket, not a cable back to the soundbar. Put it where it sounds best rather than where the wire reaches. Built to pair with an LG television WOW Orchestra uses the TV's own speakers alongside the soundbar instead of switching them off, which widens the sound rather than just making it louder. WOW Interface puts the soundbar settings inside the TV menu, so there is one remote rather than two. Which one The US70TY is a 3.1.1 channel, 400W bar for most rooms. The US90TY steps up to 5.1.3 channels and 570W, adds AI Room Calibration to tune itself to the room, and streams directly over Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Chromecast and AirPlay 2.
