TechBenefits Tech Rewards — Terms and Conditions
TechBenefits Tech Rewards
Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 18 July 2026
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern participation in TechBenefits Tech Rewards (the "Programme"), operated by Farpoint Developments Limited, trading as TechBenefits ("TechBenefits", "we", "us"), of Unit 1, Office 1, Tower Lane Business Park, Warmley, Bristol BS30 8XT. By earning or redeeming points under the Programme, you ("you", "Member") agree to be bound by these Terms.
The Programme allows eligible employees of participating employer clients to earn points on qualifying purchases made through TechBenefits, and to redeem those points against the value of future qualifying purchases, as set out below.
2. Eligibility
- You must be an active employee of an employer client that participates in TechBenefits’ salary sacrifice benefits scheme.
- You must hold a registered account on the TechBenefits platform, verified against your employer’s eligible employee list.
- The Programme is available only to individual employees for personal use and may not be used for commercial resale or on behalf of a third party.
- TechBenefits reserves the right to refuse or suspend Programme membership where eligibility criteria are not met or are reasonably suspected of being circumvented.
3. Earning Points
3.1 Earn rate. Points are earned at a rate of 10 points for every £250 of qualifying spend (inclusive of VAT), calculated on the order total at the point the order is confirmed as paid. This rate may be varied by product category or promotional period, or amended generally, as published on the TechBenefits platform from time to time.
3.2 Qualifying purchases. Points are earned only on completed, paid orders placed through the TechBenefits platform. Points are not earned on delivery charges, cancelled orders, or orders that are subsequently refunded in full or in part (see clause 3.4).
3.3 When points appear. Points are credited to your account balance once the associated order is confirmed as Completed. Orders are normally marked as Completed automatically once they have been shipped for at least 48 hours, so please allow up to 2 business days after shipping for your points to appear.
3.4 Refunds and cancellations. Where an order on which points were earned is later cancelled or refunded, TechBenefits reserves the right to deduct the corresponding points from your balance, including where this results in a negative balance to be offset against future earnings.
4. Redeeming Points
4.1 Redemption rate. Points may be redeemed at a rate of 1 point = £1.00 of order value, applied as a discount at checkout.
4.2 Redemption cap. Points may be applied to a maximum of 20% of the total value of any single qualifying order. This cap may be varied by TechBenefits and will be displayed at checkout at the time of redemption.
4.3 Where points can be redeemed. Points may currently be redeemed against qualifying purchases made through the TechBenefits platform. Availability of redemption at any given channel may change and will be confirmed at checkout.
4.4 No cash value. Points have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred, sold, gifted, or assigned to another person or account.
4.5 Redemption increments. Points may only be redeemed in whole-point increments, up to the cap set out in clause 4.2.
5. Points Expiry
Points expire 24 months from the date they are earned, unless redeemed before that date. Expired points are removed from your balance automatically and cannot be reinstated. You can view the expiry date of individual point earnings in your account points history.
6. Your Account and Points History
- You can view your current points balance, full points history, and order history at any time by logging into your TechBenefits account.
- You are responsible for keeping your login details secure. TechBenefits is not liable for points lost or redeemed as a result of unauthorised access to your account arising from your failure to keep your credentials secure.
- If you believe your points balance is incorrect, contact info@techbenefits.co.uk within 30 days of the discrepancy arising.
7. Salary Sacrifice and Tax
Where a purchase is made under a salary sacrifice arrangement, participation in the Programme does not alter the tax and National Insurance treatment of that arrangement. Employees should be aware that HMRC’s Optional Remuneration Arrangement (OpRA) rules may affect the tax treatment of benefits obtained through salary sacrifice, and TechBenefits does not provide tax advice. You should direct any questions about the tax treatment of your salary sacrifice arrangement to your employer or a qualified tax adviser.
8. Programme Changes and Termination
- TechBenefits reserves the right to amend these Terms, the earn rate, the redemption rate, the redemption cap, or any other feature of the Programme at any time, with changes taking effect from the date published on the platform.
- TechBenefits reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Programme in whole or in part at any time. Where the Programme is terminated, Members will be given 90 days’ notice and reasonable opportunity to redeem any remaining points balance before it is forfeited, save where termination is required immediately for legal, regulatory, or fraud-prevention reasons.
- If you cease to be an eligible employee of a participating employer (including on leaving your employer), your Programme membership and any remaining points balance will be forfeited, unless otherwise stated by TechBenefits.
9. Fraud and Misuse
TechBenefits reserves the right to withhold, suspend, or reclaim points, and to suspend or terminate a Member’s account, where it reasonably suspects fraud, abuse, manipulation of the Programme, or a breach of these Terms.
10. Data Protection
TechBenefits processes personal data in connection with the Programme (including purchase history and points activity) in accordance with its Privacy Policy, and in compliance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
11. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits TechBenefits’ liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. Subject to this, TechBenefits’ liability arising out of or in connection with the Programme is limited to the value of the points balance affected.
12. General
- These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
- If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
- These Terms, together with the TechBenefits platform Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement regarding the Programme.
